Yelchaninov Wedding

I think as long as I photograph weddings, Kirill and Lianna’s will always hold a special place in my heart. Not only was this one of my first official weddings, I was completely solo. That’s right, no second shooter or videographer to bounce ideas off of. But boy did this couple, bridal party, and family blow me away. They showed so much love and kindness, making me feel as if I were a longtime friend. I left the wedding thinking “I need to really be friends with these people”. We started the day at Lianna’s home, where she was the last daughter to be getting married. Her parents were so helpful, her father even wiped down the swing for her to sit on and then our shoes from the wet grass. It just so happened to start raining during the first look, but the couple didn’t let that stop their joy. After some photos by the chapel we took photos at their venue, Red Barn Villa. At the ceremony, the flower girls dresses were made by her mother, so stinking cute! All the floral and decor was done by Ales Saven @kaeandales, who always amazes me. Some of my favorite photos were from the reception. I loved how the bride and groom sat amongst their family and friends, not up on a stage. It created a more personal and intimate environments. I learned so much about the couple, listening to everyone’s stories and memories. See all the captured emotions below.
